I took a chance with this candle because I wanted to replace a candle I loved, which smelled like wood smoke from a wood-burning fireplace.
While the packaging is beautiful and tasteful, and the amber glass is lovely, this candle has a very strong cinnamon smell. There are some other somewhat (very faint) perhaps woodsy notes underneath, making it not a terribly sweet cinnamon, but it definitely does not have any smokey smell at all, which is what I wanted. The name “campfire “is definitely misleading, it is a cinnamon candle with a little depth..
